In an effort to progress within our program we have outlined goals for the upcoming season.


Financial

  • Develop a sustainable financial foundation
    • Utilize the Ahupua’a for a $250,000 Capital Campaign
  • Diversify our Donor Pool
    • 500 different donors
      • 100 companies
      • 300 local donations
      • 25 restaurants for the “Feed the Robotics Team”
  • Create a strong student fundraising operation
    • Bring in $10,000 from student fundraising

Outreach

  • Expand public awareness of Kealakehe Robotics:
  • 20 Outreach events
  • 10 feature articles in local papers
  • Weekly press release
  • Support the community that supports us:
  • 10 hours community service for each student per quarter
  • Builda foundation of knowledge of robotics
    • Mentor 4 feeder schools and develop the West Hawaii Robotics Expansion Initiative
    • Host a West Hawaii Robotics Summer Program
    • Host a West Hawaii Robotics Tournament
    • Fully Functioning and weekly updated website

    • 15 mentors including 10 from the school
    • 4 team parents and 100 percent family involvement
